The 2015 AMIA Conference is right around the corner! 2015 is our 25th anniversary – at a meeting in 1990, the decision to form AMIA was made at a meeting in Portland. So celebrating our 25th anniversary in Portland seems especially fitting!
The Vendor Café is scheduled for two days – Thursday, November 19th and Friday, November 20th. Like last year, the Vendor Café will open each morning with a Conference Plenary and breakfast. Thursday morning’s plenary will be the official opening of the Conference. At the end of the plenary session, the Vendor Café will be officially open. We’ll also offer a coffee service in the morning and there will be our Café Reception on Thursday evening.
For the reception, attendees will receive a complimentary drink coupon courtesy of the Vendors. We had a good turnout at last year’s reception and hope we will again this year. After the reception, attendees will head for Archival Screening Night a few blocks away at The Whitsell Auditorium.
I’ve attached the vendor information and the application form – but please call me or drop me a note if you have any questions. The floor plan is also attached. With your application please indicate three choices for your booth location. We try to accommodate your first request but unfortunately it is at times not possible.
Exhibit Booths include an 8×10 booth, a draped six foot table, and two chairs. Please note information about your program listing in your materials.
If you are not already a sponsor, I encourage you to consider it. AMIA’s projects and educational programs rely on our partners and sponsors. I’ve included our sponsors packages information, but we have also developed a special Contributing Sponsor package only available to those exhibiting in the Vendor Café.
The Contributing Sponsor package includes your booth, a full registration to the conference, and other ways to increase your exposure to attendees. :

It’s a great location and a great program. We have a great room rate at our headquarters hotel – the Hilton Portland & Executive Tower – and encourage you to book early! Room rates are only guaranteed until October 14th.
