2024 | Archival Screening Night

The 2024 edition of ARCHIVAL SCREENING NIGHT will take place on Friday, December 5, 2024 at UMW Union Cinema to close out the AMIA Conference in Milwaukee.

Archival Screening Night provides AMIA members with an opportunity to showcase recent acquisitions, discoveries, and preservation efforts in a program that represents the magnificent spectrum of formats, works, and collections protected and preserved by the AMIA community.

Please consider submitting your latest preservation efforts, favorite finds, and best kept secrets to this incredible event! 

Everyone is invited and strongly encouraged to submit. Some priority will be given to first time applicants and works which speak to the region in which the conference is held. If you’re showing material as part of any other screening or panel during the conference, we ask you not to submit that piece to Archival Screening Night. You are welcome to resubmit material that was submitted but not selected in past years. Please see the submission form for details and requirements.

While we work to determine what formats we can accept this year, we are considering digital, 35mm, and 16mm submissions. If you’ve been dying to screen a print, please let us know in the submission form!
