The Pavilion
The Pavilion will bring together the Vendor Cafe with skill shares, “ask an expert” spaces, and small group discussions. It is a hub for sharing information at the conference.
Exhibitors – suppliers and service providers have always been a great source of information about what’s new and what’s coming up. They provide an important look into what’s down the road.
Check out the list of exhibitors here – and see what they’re bringing to share.
Knowledge Sharing – the pAVilion is also a place for the archives community to highlight the work of AMIA’s committees and groups. Activities will include –
- Ask a Copyright Expert
- Resume Review Table
- Ripping Digital AV Tape
- Learn About CLIR Grants and Programs
- Get to Know Your TMI
- National Endowment for the Humanities
- Enabling Interoperability of Media Collections Through IIII
The activities are scheduled at different times throughout the Pavilion. Check out the schedule here.
Poster Sessions – poster presentations are highlight repositories, a research projects, and other initiatives. Summarized in text and images, the presenter is available for discussion and to answer questions.
The Poster Sessions are scheduled for Thursday and Friday – posters will change each day. The list of poster presentations is here.
Roundtables/Small Group Discussions. Roundtables explore specific topics and issues in a small group (tables are seated for 10 people). There is no presenter or speaker, and they are open to anyone with an interest in the topic, or for groups of people to assemble without a topic who have shared interest/concerns and want to have a group conversation.
