Registration for AMIA 2018 is open!

The conference offers parallel session tracks as well as workshops, screenings, receptions and the new pAVilion for exhibitors and activities.  Additional workshops and other events will continue to be posted  If you register now, you will be able to adjust your registration as new events are added.

In an effort to make the annual conference accessible to as many as possible, AMIA offers conference registration fees on a sliding scale. The categories listed next to “Full Registration” are intended to reflect factors that affect an attendees ability to attend the conference. The Supporter Level is for those able to support student and unsubsidized rates — your support assists your early career colleagues to be able to attend the conference! At the supporter rate, $100 of your registration is tax deductible and a donation letter will be sent to you.

AMIA Members also receive a $50 discount on registration fees. To apply your discount, enter AMIA-M as your discount code during the payment process.  Please note, discounts apply to full registration and full day workshops only.

This year our registration information includes gender pronouns that will be included on name badges at the conference. AMIA is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment – we not only want people to be comfortable being themselves, we strive to  build a culture where we don’t make assumptions or pass judgment on each other.   Having pronouns on our badges – or if a person chooses to tell you their pronouns – is simply letting you know how you can refer to colleagues, without you having to make any assumptions. More information is here.

We are also committed to providing our members and guests  with a harassment-free and discrimination-free environment, and has adopted a Code of Conduct to help enable such an environment.  A detailed version of the Code of Conduct may be found here.  If you experience harassment at an AMIA event, you may contact staff or Board members identifiable via name badges, or if not urgent, report online at this link.
